Create your candidate, your party, where to locate headquarters, and compose a slogan
Hire and fire members of your campaign team matching salary, personality, and credentials to one of six positions
Decide where you stand on the issues.
Strategize, strategize, strategize
Buy advertising. You have complete control over advertising. Choose TV, radio, newspaper or direct mail. Where? How much?
Schedule visits to key states. Learn which states are swing states. Don’t neglect your base.
Finance your campaign. You start off with a sum of money. As you go, advertising and travel costs will be subtracted. Earn money giving speeches. To borrow or not to borrow, that is the question.

Compete against the computerized opponent for electoral votes.
Tour the country in a 3-D campaign bus, and follow your progress on the map
There will be bumps along the way: unpredictable weather conditions; favorable and sometimes not so favorable news stories you must respond to; dwindling financial resources; staff members you may need to fire.
Play the election history quiz game to increase your poll numbers. Questions include both fun election trivia and questions to improve your vocabulary and help increase your knowledge of the election process.
